Asking Permission if its a Relationship

When a couple is dating, should they ask permission to go out and permission to sleep over and permission to ask permission...WTF????

Why is it that couples (NOT MARRIED) are doing this. I feel like I must report back on EVERYTHING i do and in return I get asked "Can i do this"...

Next time he asks Im gonna say: "Yes you may go howver I wish to know (1where you (2) Priod of time that you will be there (3) Name and tel no of restaurant or whatever (4) Which seat you'll be on and lastly How much do you plan to spend on her!"
We are young and should enjoy our lives and not live it reporting back to or watching a loved ones life and critting and asking too many questions...apparently we leave that to the BIG M word....marriage!

Eager Beaver

So like, Yes, I know, I don't wanna turn 25, but I can't wait for my 26th birthday...because...Its gonna be on full moon.
I always loved a full moon, took many pictures of it, damn, I'm even convinced that females are MOST horniest around full moon.

The wikipedia explanation : Full moon is a lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun, and when the three celestial bodies are aligned as close as possible to straight line. At this time, as seen by viewers on Earth, the hemisphere of the Moon that is facing the Earth (the near side) is fully illuminated by the Sun and appears round. Only during a full moon is the opposite hemisphere of the Moon, which is not visible from Earth (the far side), completely unilluminated.

I am SO planning a party for this occasion from now on already!!! and yes, IF I do remember that I invited you in this blog post then come...and act invited!

Things you should have learned by now

  • If you're too open-minded, your brains will fall out
  • Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often
  • Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a workshop makes you a motorcycle
  • Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity
  • If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before
  • My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance
  • Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious
  • It is easier to get forgiveness than permission
  • For every action, there is an equal and opposite government program
  • Bills travel through the mail at twice the speed of checks
  • A conscience is what hurts when all of your other parts feel so good
  • Eat well, stay fit, die anyway
  • No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes
  • A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand
  • They say middle age is when broadness of the mind and narrowness of the waist change places
  • Opportunities always look bigger going than coming
  • Junk is something you've kept for years and throw away three weeks before you need it
  • There is always one more imbecile than you counted on
  • Experience is a wonderful thing - It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again
  • It ain't the jeans that make your butt look big

Support Local Bands

I think I have become a local band addict...

It's not like I chose to mainly listen to local bands but rather that seeing them live, listening to after having bought their CDs just made me realise that they are SO damn good and I wanna listen to them and as a result, now addicted...

A few of my favourites (and in no particular order) include: Sons of Selassie , The Rudimentals, Teba, Godessa, Hog Hoggidy Hog, Henry Ate, Springbok Nude Girls, 340 ml and many more...

Be sure to check them out at least once (else you'll miss the opportunity i.e. Boo! gone and forgotten) - support the brothers and sisters - be proud to be South African - be proud to say that "I am addicted to SA music"

Wrapped in Lies

You lived your life telling lies, cheating, being inhumane....
So the day you come clean, start afresh, your behavior changes...you sleep longer, you do less things cause you don't have the energy and you don't want to bump into people of the past...

Suddenly your loved ones start accusing you of spending time with someone else (cause in their mind you spent the night before with the one you have cheated with);
You can't wake up the next morning(s) cause you partied all night long;
You get seen in the same vicinity as an ex and suddenly you wanna be back with that person or better yet, you were with that person....

For once i am not cheating, not lying, stopped using and yet i am still in the wrong....I don't blame the person for thinking the way they are, but can you ever be forgiven??
Can one ever move on again with the person you hurt SO badly? Its tough but I am game to work hard at it.

Worst still:
Is everyone just living a lie and nobody knows the truth
anymore? So when you tell the truth, you are actually lying??? A recovering addict, cheater, lier yes can always go back to the way they were, and if they are in recovery, it

is a LONNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG hard road, so nurture them in every way possible, be there for that person, ask more questions about the things they are going through, try to understand and don't down the already fragile sanity the person is trying to rebuild...after all, why be patient enough to read this when there is no interest to know what is going on inside that head?

Formula 1 - Counting the days

So yes it has been approximately 4 months since the last race - can't wait until March 18th...

No! I don't support any particular team, just the "championship" overall...

Some alarming new rules include:
  • BridgeStone is now the sole supplier of tyres - so yay! we not gonna have another replay of the USA race about two years ago - 14 tyres for each team - 4 for the Friday , 10 for the Sunday
  • Drivers can use two engines i.e. save a engin for the official race on the Sunday
  • Team names must now be clearly marked on the front and side body to distinguish between the two cars per team - WHY???
  • Lewis Hamilton (the first so called "Black" driver in Formula 1) s Alonso's newpartener - yes I said Alonso - he left Renault

42 more days - then i won't be blogging for another 7 months - so enjoy this while it lasts okay!
Off to my friend Teboes now ... Be sure to check him out at Zula on the 19th February
it's gonna be seriously Rude...
